Pawan Kalyan On Sandhya Theater Stampede: Regarding action against actor Allu Arjun in the Sandhya theater stampede case, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said that the law is equal for all and the police should work keeping in mind the safety of the people. Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan praised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, calling him a “great leader”. He also suggested to Allu Arjun that he should have first met the family of the woman killed in the stampede.
According to NDTV report, in an informal conversation with journalists on Monday (December 30, 2024) in Mangalagiri, film actor Kalyan presented his perspective on the stampede incident that took place at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad on December 4. Actually, Allu Arjun had reached Sandhya Theater for the screening of Pushpa 2. There was chaos there due to the arrival of the film star. In this incident, 35 year old woman Revati died and her son was injured. Soon after this, Hyderabad Police registered a case against Allu Arjun. He was arrested and got bail after some time.
‘Police work keeping security in mind’
Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM said that it is important for law enforcement officers to give priority to public safety. Law is equal for everyone. In such incidents, the police work keeping security in mind. However, the theater staff should have informed Allu Arjun about the situation in advance. “Once he took his seat, the chaos became difficult to control.”
The special thing is that Pawan Kalyan is a relative of Allu Arjun. Allu Arjun’s aunt Surekha is married to famous actor Chiranjeevi and he is the elder brother of Pawan Kalyan. When Pawan Kalyan was asked what the actor could have done to prevent such incidents, Pawan Kalyan said, “It would have been better if Allu Arjun had met the victim’s family earlier, it would have reduced the tension.” Film actor Pawan Kalyan told that his elder brother Chiranjeevi also used to attend the screening of his films but he often wore a mask to avoid creating ruckus.
Pawan Kalyan praised Telangana CM Revanth Reddy
Andhra Deputy CM praised Telangana Chief Minister Reddy and said that he is a leader who has emerged from an ordinary background. He said, “Revanth Reddy is a great leader. He did not act like YSRC. He allowed profitable shows and ticket price (increase). However, in this matter I am not completely aware of what happened in front of Allu Arjun. Or what happened behind the scenes.”
