Starting from 22nd July, the month of Saavan, the month of the God of Gods, Mahadev, will begin. This is considered the most special month for Lord Mahadev. Let us tell you that in this holy month, lakhs of Kaavadis perform Jalabhishek at Baba Garibnath Dham, famous as Deoghar of Bihar.
For the Jalabhishek of Baba, lakhs of Kanwariyas carry water from the Ganges river at Pahelaja Ghat in Hajipur and from there, while doing the Kanwar Yatra, they offer water to Baba at Garibnath Dham in Muzaffarpur. Please note that the number of Kanwariyas is very high and due to this, tight arrangements are made by the administration.
Vinay Pathak, the head priest of Baba Garibnath Dham temple, said that preparations have been made for all the devotees coming to Garibnath Dham. This year devotees will get more facilities than every year. The devotees who offer water from the LED wall TV screen outside the temple will have darshan of Baba, and the arrangement for coming and going has also been made good. In any year, the devotees who come to Garib Nath Dham do not face any kind of problem.
Along with this, the temple head priest further said that this time there will be more than 2200 volunteers of Seva Dal in the service of Kanwariyas. They will ensure that the Kanwariyas do not face any difficulty on the way of the Kanwar Yatra. Along with this, it has been decided that all the Kanwariyas and other devotees will perform Jalabhishek on Baba only through Argha.
