Thalapathy Vijay Party Target To Reach Two Crore New Members Actor Also Called for Women Participation


Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam Agenda: Before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, recently South Indian film actor Thalapathy Vijay has formed his own political party named ‘Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam’. Now he has instructed his colleagues to work towards expanding the party unit.

According to India Today report, Thalapathy Vijay has given a target to his party colleagues to make two crore new members. Along with this, he has also called for active participation of women and first time voters in the party.

The party is also ready to announce a special women-led membership wing, which will be coordinated by the district and assembly in-charge.

What did Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam say?

“We should try to ensure that the general public, including first-time voters and women voters, become active members of our party,” the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam headquarters announced.

Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam had called a consultation meeting in Chennai on Monday (February 19), in which the agenda of membership drive and expansion of the party was discussed. Party supremo Thalapathy Vijay asked his colleagues to conduct membership campaigns in district and assembly seats to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

Membership campaign will also run through mobile application

A mobile application will also be made available soon for the membership campaign, through which general voters, first time voters and women voters will be able to join the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam Party.

Thalapathy Vijay’s party will contest 2026 assembly elections

Let us tell you that Thalapathy Vijay had announced his political party on 2 February. He had told that the party has been registered with the Election Commission. party 2024 Lok Sabha Elections Will not contest but will contest the 2026 (Tamil Nadu) assembly elections.
