Munger Crime: A series of murders is continuing in Munger. Three people have been murdered in the last two days. The latest case is from Katariya village under Mufassil police station area of the district, where the police recovered the body of a 30-year-old youth from a well late at night.

The body of a young man has been recovered from a well in Munger. After getting information about the incident, the station in-charge of Mufassil police station cum trainee DSP Abhishek Kumar, Additional Station in-charge Chandan Kumar along with many police officials reached the spot with their team and took the body in their custody and brought it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
The deceased has been identified as Sonu Kumar, 30-year-old son of Singheshwar Yadav, a resident of Kataria village. The family said that Sonu Kumar was missing since yesterday (Monday) afternoon. We searched a lot, but he was not found anywhere. Today (Tuesday) morning his body was recovered from a well. The deceased’s towel and lungi were lying near the well. The family said that Krishna Murari Yadav, a domineering person of the village, and his associate Pappu Yadav first beat him up.
After that the body was thrown into the well. There are many injury marks on the body of the deceased. We got the information this morning, after which we informed the Mufassil police station about the incident. The body was taken out of the well by the District Rescue Relief Team.
