According to the report of Mirror, a boy named Grayson Whitaker, living in Leeds, England, has a strange disease, which does not allow him to enjoy the pleasure of sitting and eating food with others. His parents Alex and Don have been watching him spend most of his time alone in his room since childhood, which makes them very sad. Grayson has never eaten with his family even during festivals in his life and has no memories of it. He used to lock his room and sit there, which made his family sad. Now he leaves his house and lives separately so that he does not have to hear the voice of anyone in the family.
What is this disease after all?
The medical condition that Grayson has is called misophonia. In this a person becomes emotional on every sound. From people speaking to eating and drinking, the sound starts troubling the person. Grayson has had this problem since childhood and that is why he had to leave school. He can’t stand any noise. Currently he lives with his partner Beth, who understands his condition. Apart from this, Grayson is also taking therapies, due to which his condition has improved a bit.
