The girl was walking with her mother on the beach, when she saw some big marks, experts said, these are dinosaur’s feet!

Dinosaur remains are not found everywhere in the world. But where they are found, they are not less. The seashores of Britain are such places where traces of dinosaurs are found in abundance. Recently this has happened once again. This time a walk on the beach in summer turned into a prehistoric adventure for a girl. She found five big footprints which the scientist confirmed to be of a special dinosaur.

While walking along the beach with her mother in Penarth, 10-year-old Tegan stumbled across a series of huge footprints. She then found five giant footprints that experts believe belong to the dinosaur Camelot, which roamed the area 200 million years ago, according to the BBC.

The huge footprints were up to 75cm apart and are thought to have been made by a large herbivorous animal at the end of the Triassic period. Paleontologists are now working to verify the discovery. The palaeontology curator at the National Museum Wales is confident the prints are genuine, leaving Tegan and her mother thrilled to walk in the dinosaur’s footsteps.

“We have found five footprints and each one is about half to three-quarters of a metre apart. These footprints are so large that they must belong to some type of dinosaur called Sauropodomorpha,” Cindy Howells told the BBC’s The Dinohunters programme.

This incredible discovery was made on the South Wales coast, where the girl’s mother Claire lives. Tegan said, “We just went out to see what we could find, we didn’t think we would find anything. We noticed that there were these big holes that looked like dinosaur footprints, so mother took some pictures, emailed it to the museum.”

Cindy, a seasoned dinosaur expert with 40 years of experience in the field, was confident of the authenticity of the footprints because their walking pattern was so similar. This is an important discovery, but the way it happened is very exciting.
