According to the report of South China Morning Post, a hotpot restaurant in Sichuan has been punished by the local administration. Actually, this restaurant used to extract oil from the food left by other customers and mix it with new oil and cook food from it. This is called saliva oil i.e. false oil of others. The Nanchong Market Regulation Administration raided the restaurant on December 2 and found that chili oil was indeed being extracted from food eaten by others and used for the next customer’s meal. They found a good quantity of this type of soup and used oil. The owner of the restaurant also accepted this and said that he does this for the taste.

In many restaurants, the work of using fake oil in this way is going on. As soon as this matter came to light on social media, people reacted normally. Another user said – It is for this flavor that people come to restaurants to eat hotpot. At the same time, some users expressed concern that this could spread the infection.
