This unique house was built in Buxar a year ago. This house floats on the Ganga river. The idea of building this house came from Prashant Kumar, a resident of Arrah. Due to the repeated destruction of the house in floods, he decided to build a house that never sinks. To make this idea a reality, Prashant also talked to friends living in Canada, Germany, Netherlands. With everyone’s help, he built a house that would float on the water during floods. This house is being discussed far and wide.

This unique house was built near Kritpura village. This house, built as a trial, is now being transported from one place to another. This house is tied with iron angles under water. When there is a flood, it floats with the waves. This house is made from such material that is not affected by water. Also, the material used to make it is very light. So that the house floats easily on water. Do not make the mistake of considering this house as any other house. Inside this house, you will also find a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom.

Prashant got the idea of building this unique house when he went to Scotland by bike in 2017. During this time he visited many countries. Then this idea came to his mind after seeing the flood affected people. After coming to Bihar, he started working on this project. Currently, it is costing six lakhs to build this house. This house is eco-friendly. The brick used to build it is made of cow dung, soil and paddy husk. It is not only light but it also does not harm the environment. People are praising this house a lot.
