Till the year 2001, Don Julian Santana Barrera was the caretaker of ‘La Isla de la Muñecas’ island. He lived here alone. It is said that after the drowning of a girl, Julian found a floating corpse here, whose breath was going on. He could not save her and after this incident he also found a doll there. It is said that he hanged it on the tree and he kept getting dolls one after the other. He hanged all the dolls on a tree for the peace of the girl’s soul and he himself died in the year 2001.
