Bharatpur:- Kamruddin meeting his family after being separated 20 years ago at Apna Ghar Ashram in Bharatpur is no less than a miracle. Kamruddin, a resident of Silav village in Nalanda district of Bihar, had left home 20 years ago after losing his mental balance. After this, his family members searched for him everywhere, but without success. There was a flood in Nalanda at that time, due to which the family assumed that they might have been swept away in the flood. Ultimately, he was considered dead and his last rites were performed as per Islamic traditions.
The family assumed him dead
Kamruddin’s brother Badruddin told Local 18 that he was undergoing mental treatment in Ranchi, but due to lack of improvement one day he suddenly left the house. At that time his son Gulzar was only four years old. The family searched for him for a long time, but were unsuccessful. As time passed, the family accepted his death as destiny. After this, after 20 years, Be Asra da Asra Welfare Society of Amritsar, Punjab admitted the seriously mentally and physically ill Kamruddin to Apna Ghar Ashram in Bharatpur.
Kamruddin’s news came after 20 years
During the service and treatment at Apna Ghar Ashram in Bharatpur, within a month he told the address of his family. Apna Ghar Ashram team member Subhash Sharma contacted his address and informed his family through WhatsApp. Initially the family could not believe the news of his being alive, because they had already performed his last rites. After this, when the family saw Kamruddin through video call, it was difficult to recognize him due to the long gap of 20 years.
