The 40-year-old man is believed to have slipped into the water while fishing with his children at Crocodile Bend, near Cooktown, Queensland, on Saturday. Police and rangers have launched a huge search operation to find him near the Annan River Bridge. The area is popular for fishing, but is also a known habitat for crocodiles.
It is being told that a five-meter long crocodile is still seen in the area. Queensland Police said that the person had gone into the water, but he was not seen coming back.
