New Delhi. Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested the murder accused. Accused Ashish Chaudhary had killed a person to avenge the murder of his niece. The deceased was a witness in an attempt to murder case registered against one of the main accused. The court had declared him a fugitive.

Crime Branch Deputy Commissioner of Police Satish Kumar said that a person named Vicky was murdered on June 16 in New Usmanpur police station area. Investigation revealed that accused Ashish Chaudhary along with Mehkar, Deepak, Monu and a minor had murdered Vicky, a resident of New Usmanpur. The deceased Vicky was a declared criminal of New Usmanpur police station of Delhi. Accused Deepak, Monu and a minor have been arrested by the local police. Accused Ashish was absconding since then. The process of declaring him a fugitive was going on. Under the supervision of ACP Ravindra Kumar, a team of Inspector Pawan Singh, SI Anuj Chikara, SI Kuldeep Singh, SI Vishal Gupta, SI Satendra, ASI Ravinder, Havaldar Ashok and Ravinder was investigating the case. After the information received by Havaldar Pawan and constable Manoj, the police team laid a trap at Dhaula Kuan and caught the accused. The accused confessed his crime and said that in the year 2010, the deceased Vicky and his brother Sanjay were arrested in the murder of Mehkar’s niece. Vicky and Sanjay had some monetary dispute with Mehkar’s niece. Since then, there was rivalry between them. Vicky came out on bail in the year 2015 and since then the accused was trying to eliminate Vicky.
