There is relief news for crores of farmers of the country. The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana) being run by the central government is going to be released soon. Under this scheme, financial assistance of 6 thousand rupees is given to eligible farmers annually. This amount is sent to the farmers’ bank account in three equal installments. So far 19 installments have been distributed and farmers are waiting for the 20th installment. In such a situation, know the important things related to this installment, who will get the money and how much amount is going to come.
Under PM Kisan Yojana, the government has sent a installment of Rs 2000-2000 every year in the bank account of eligible farmers across the country. That is, the annual farmers get a total financial assistance of a total of Rs 6000. The purpose of this scheme is to empower small and marginal farmers financially.
How much amount will come in the 20th installment?
So far, farmers have received 2000 rupees in every installment. But in the 20th installment, some farmers can also get double benefit. Actually, there are many farmers whose last i.e. 19th installment was stuck due to some reason. If these farmers complete essential work like e-KYC, Aadhaar linking and geo-consciousness in time, then the government can release the 20th installment as well as their previous stuck installment. This means that these farmers can come to the account of up to Rs 4000.
When can the 20th installment be released?
So far 19 installments have been released under the scheme. If we look at the time intervals of the previous installments, it has been seen that every installment is released at a difference of about four months. For example, the 18th installment was released in October 2024 and the 19th installment came in February 2025. In such a situation, speculations are being made that the 20th installment can be transferred to the farmers’ account in June 2025. However, it has not been officially announced yet.
Who will not get benefits?
The benefit of the scheme will be available only to those farmers who have completed e-KYC and have completed all the necessary processes like Aadhaar linking, land consciousness from the bank account. The installment of farmers whose documents will remain incomplete will be stopped.
