Piyush Pathak/Alwar: Due to summer people depend more on beverages. Due to which they get support in the scorching heat. Everyone remembers a special lassi in Alwar. There is a huge demand for Santosh colored rope in Alwar, they sell more than 300 Kullad Lassi every day. This is the only such shop in Alwar city. Whose method of making lassi is also special. In the age of machines, even today lassi is made at this shop by squeezing curd by hand using a wooden cylinder.

Tarun, who makes lassi at Santosh Lassi House, said that his shop was started in 1976. Earlier his shop was in Malakheda market. After 20 years, he shifted his shop opposite Ashok Talkies. Tarun told that many things change with changing times. But the taste of our Lassi is still the same as before. Even today, people flock to our shop because of the taste. From the very beginning, Lassi was hand-rolled and served in an earthen kullad at our shop.

The rate of small kullad is Rs 30.
Tarun told that apart from lassi, pure cheese, kalakand and curd are also available at our shop. People compete to drink lassi at our shop. Here the rate of big Kullad is Rs 40 and the rate of small Kullad is Rs 30. According to Tarun, one glass of lassi is made in this shop in quantity of 200 grams.

People like the garnish of almond sherbet.
Tarun told that the people coming to our shop are given lassi garnished with almonds and sherbet. The specialty of our Lassi is that while curdling curd, water is not added to the milk, due to which it becomes very thick. It is served in kullad. People like the garnish of almond and sherbet on our lassi.
