The Road Leading To Bihariji Temple Will Be Made Smart – Agra News

In Vrindavan, the Municipal Corporation will develop the road from Prem Mandir to Vidyapeeth Square towards Banke Bihari Temple as a smart road. For this, the Municipal Corporation has sent a proposal to the government. This will be the first smart road in the temple city of Vrindavan.

Lakhs of devotees from India and abroad come to Vrindavan for darshan. Efforts are being made to make Vrindavan attractive for them and provide them better facilities. As per the intention of the government, in order to facilitate the devotees, a plan has been prepared to develop about one kilometer long and thirty feet wide road from Prem Mandir to Vidyapeeth Square as a smart road. This route will be built under the Chief Minister Grid Scheme. A divider will be made in the middle of the smart road. Artistic street lights will be installed in it.

Special technology will be used to make the road safe and environment friendly. Its specialty will be that on both sides of the road, ducts for laying electric cables, gas, pipes for water lines etc. and footpaths for walking will also be built. Along with decorating the divider, trees and plants will also be planted. The Municipal Corporation has prepared the estimate for the construction of the road. A proposal in this regard has been made and sent to the government.

Municipal Commissioner Shashank Chaudhary said that a smart road will be built in Vrindavan for the convenience of the devotees. It will cost approximately Rs 20 crore. This work will be done under the Chief Minister Grid Scheme. Now the approval of the proposal is awaited to start the work.
