Actually, this shop is located near Paswan Chowk on Hajipur-Jandaha road. People throng here in the morning and evening just to eat Jalebi. Shop owner Rana Singh told that his shop is about 45 years old. Jalebi is being made here for the last four decades. About two and a half quintals of Jalebi are made at his shop in a day. By the end of the evening, all the jalebis are sold. He has also given employment to about half a dozen staff. Amod Kumar, who came from Bidupur, located 20 km away from the shop, told that he has been eating jalebis from this shop since childhood. Whenever I feel like eating Jalebi, I come here.
Consumption of one quintal flour every day
Rana Singh told that it takes about one quintal flour to make two quintals of Jalebi. Sugar and other things are also used in the same proportion. He told that those who go from here after eating Jalebi, they say that such Jalebi is not found anywhere else. People come here again and again to eat Jalebi. That’s why this Jalebi shop is famous not only in Hajipur city but also in the entire Vaishali district.
