Nishant Jaiswal, owner of Dinanath Lassi, says that before him his father and grandfather used to run the shop. Grandfather opened it in 1962. He has been serving Dinanath’s famous Lassi to his customers for three consecutive generations. Not only from Bareilly, but people from Shahjahanpur, Badaun, Pilibhit come to drink Lassi. Especially the tourists coming from Uttarakhand like Dinanath’s Lassi.

How is Dinanath’s famous Lassi made?
Shop owner Nishant tells that to make lassi, he takes milk and puts curd in an earthen pot. After the curd sets, it is beaten in a vessel with sugar and chironji till it becomes lassi. When the lassi is ready, he puts it in a kulhar and serves it to his customers with dry fruits. While making this lassi, everything from milk to dry fruits is of good quality, so that there is no impact on the health of the customers.

In an exclusive conversation with Local 18, customers visiting Dinanath Lassi vendor told that they have been coming to drink Dinanath’s famous Lassi for a long time. Before this he used to come with his father in his childhood. From then till today Dinanath’s taste has not changed. Drinking this cold lassi in summer cools the mind and refreshes the body.
