Here, at Gate No. 01, Ajay Kumar, originally a resident of Sherghati block of Gaya district, runs a stall in the name of Ajay Fast Food. Many types of things including Chowmein, Manchurian, Bread Omelette are sold at this fast food stall. But people like egg roll the most. Apart from the passengers coming and going by bus, the local people also come here fondly and do not forget to taste the egg roll.
What is special in this egg roll?
While making egg roll, Ajay says that many types of spices and vegetables which include cabbage, beet, carrot, onion etc. are included. The stuffing of the roll is prepared by mixing soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste and gravy and then rolling it. Before this, they have prepared omelette in the roti made from flour which they bring from home.
After stuffing, along with chaat masala and salt, they also squeeze lemon in the egg roll. According to Ajay, lemon keeps the liver healthy and there is no problem of gas. Apart from this, the egg roll also gets a different kind of spicy flavor which people like very much.
40 to 50 egg rolls are sold in a day
According to Ajay, when the market is good, he sells 40 to 50 egg rolls in a day. Due to the difference of Rs 10, most people buy double egg rolls only. According to this, Ajay sells up to 2000 egg rolls in a day. Let us tell you that one egg roll is available for Rs 30. Whereas a double egg roll costs Rs 40.
However, apart from egg roll, Manchurian, bread omelette, boiled eggs etc. are also available at Ajay’s cart. Let us tell you that Ajay sets up his fast food stall near Gate No. 01 of Bairia Bus Stand from 3 pm to 10 pm. He has been feeding fast food to people in Patna for the last 10 years.
