Dheer Rajput/Firozabad: People’s mouth starts watering as soon as they hear the name of Jalebi. Everyone has tasted the taste of Jalebi. But if the people coming to Firozabad did not enjoy the Jalebi of this 25 year old place, then they did nothing. Yes, after seeing the Jalebi here, you will forget all the sweets. This Jalebi is famous far and wide and it is prepared in a very pure way.
Kalicharan, who runs a shop in the name of Kalicharan Jalebiwala near Urvasi intersection in the heart of Firozabad, spoke to Local 18 and said that his shop is about 25 years old. Initially their Jalebi was sold at Rs 20 per kg. At their place, Jalebi is prepared from pure flour and oil. First, oil is poured into the pan and cooked. Then after that the flour is rotated in a circular motion with a cloth. After which pure Jalebi is ready in the pan. The shopkeeper told that Jalebi is cooked well and the crispy Jalebi is dipped in sweet syrup and given to the people to eat. There is a huge crowd of people eating Jalebi at the shop early in the morning.
This Jalebi is sold well for Rs 120 per kg
The shopkeeper told that this Jalebi is very tasty and its price is Rs 120 per kg. Jalebi is sold there in abundance. Jalebi is made and sold from 6 am to 12 noon. This gives a good monthly income to the shopkeeper. People come from far away places including Firozabad, Shikohabad, Tundla to eat Jalebi.
