Kailash Kumar/Bokaro. Today, Litti Chokha is eaten with great enthusiasm in all areas of the country, because Litti is delicious as well as full of nutrition. Along with providing energy to the body, it also quenches hunger, hence people of all classes like to eat it. In such a situation, if you want to enjoy spicy chokha and chutney with delicious hot litti dipped in ghee, then Shankar Litti stall located on Chas Main Road, Bokaro is especially famous for its ghee litti. Where people come from far and wide to eat litti.

70-year-old Dulal Modak, the operator of the Litti stall, told Local 18 that he has been selling Litti Chokha for the last 20 years and at his place, customers can taste Litti for just Rs 8. At the same time, for Rs 10, customers can enjoy ghee based Litti Chokha, which is full of taste.

500 pieces sold in no time
Regarding the special process of making Litti, Dulal Modak told that first of all small balls of dough are prepared by kneading the flour well. Then sattu is filled in it and finally the litti is cooked on coal flame and served to the customer with potato chokha, green chutney and onion. At the same time, 20 kg of flour and 8 kg of sattu is consumed at his stall every day. 300 to 500 pieces of litti are sold daily.

Income of Rs 12 to 15,000 every month
Director Dulal told that the price of Litti is low at his place, because his aim is to provide quality food to all sections of people at less money. He told that his journey has been quite a struggle and before running the Litti stall, he used to sell tea near Prabhat Hotel in Chas. At the same time, today he earns Rs 12 to 15,000 every month from Litti stall and his shop remains open daily from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
