Muzaffarpur. Indian weddings are full of emotions and drama. Whether you attend the wedding as a guest or as a family member, there is no dearth of drama. Sometimes the uncle gets upset and sometimes the maternal uncle. But this time in Muzaffarpur, it happened that the bride herself created a ruckus.

The groom from Gaighat reached Dhum Nagar of Baruraj with his baraatis with pomp and show for the wedding. The baraatis were welcomed at the bride’s door. The groom and the baraatis along with the Samadhi were served breakfast and were also treated very well. But at the time of garlanding, the groom refused to marry after seeing the bride arriving on the stage.

The groom created a ruckus on the stage
Now it was the groom’s turn. As soon as he saw the bride before the garland ceremony, the groom started creating a ruckus. The girl’s family stood quietly. The boy was accusing the bride of being replaced. The groom’s complaint was not wrong. In fact, instead of the girl with whom the marriage was fixed, her younger sister was standing with the garland. The baraatis and other guests were also not able to understand the matter. After all, how did the bride change at the last moment.

The bride is upset with the lehenga
The matter was something else. It so happened that the bride did not like the lehenga that came from her in-laws. Just because of this, she refused to marry. Her parents and relatives tried to convince her a lot but still she did not agree to marry. The wedding procession had reached the village. Now what could the girl’s family do? When the bride did not agree to marry under any circumstances, the family members persuaded her younger sister and got her ready in place of the bride and sent her for the jaimala.

Police arrived at the pavilion
When the groom saw the bride on the stage, she looked different. The groom refused to exchange garlands and called the police. The police rushed to the spot and explained to everyone. Despite this, the commotion did not subside. Defeated, the police brought everyone to the police station.

Husband and wife agreed like this
After reaching the police station, SHO Sanjeev Kumar Dubey explained to the bride and groom and their families. Finally, both the parties agreed. In the Santoshi Mata Mandir situated in the police station premises, the groom and the real bride, i.e. the one who did not like the lehengi, both got ready for marriage. Both were married. In the presence of the police, rituals from kanyadaan to vidaai were performed. At the time of vidaai, Baruraj SHO Sanjeev Kumar Dubey bid farewell to the bride and groom by giving them blessings for a new life along with shagun.
