Rampur: In a sensational incident in Khajuria police station, a female constable attacked the station in-charge. It is alleged that the female constable put chilli powder in the station in-charge’s eyes and then beat him with a stick. After this incident, there was a stir in the police department. The matter reached the top officials. CO sahab reached the spot and recorded the statements of other policemen. The accused female constable has been suspended.
According to sources, there was a dispute between two female constables posted in Khajuria police station over a scooty. Female constable Arju had gone somewhere with another female constable’s scooty. On the way, the scooty met with an accident and a dispute arose between the female constables over this matter. She started asking Arju for a new scooty. She did not like this. In this dispute, when the station in-charge Rajiv Kumar started favoring the other woman, female constable Arju got angry.
It is being told that the police station in-charge was doing video conferencing in his room. Then a woman constable came and first put chilli powder in his eyes and then started beating him with a stick. Somehow other policemen rescued him.
As soon as information about this case was received, CO City reached the spot and started investigation. He has recorded the statements of 9 police personnel including the SHO, woman constable.
Female constable Arju alleges that the station in-charge was not taking her side. At the same time, the station in-charge has called the allegations of the female constable baseless.
