Stockhome Syndrome Case: A unique case of Stockholm syndrome has come to light from China. Here a 40-year-old woman became its victim. The woman was duped of Rs 11 lakh by a scammer. Despite such a huge fraud, the woman kept a positive attitude towards the scammer. The surprising thing is that the woman later started supporting the scammer. She started duping people along with the scammer.

According to the South China Morning Post, the woman’s name is ‘Hu’ and she is from Myanmar and she believed the scammer’s story and also helped him. In fact, in May 2023, she met a man named Chen through a dating app. Chen had told Hu that he was a simple person and he also claimed that he had an investment account with high returns. One day he convinced Hu to invest in the account. Chen claimed to have been caught in a scam. But he claimed to get Hu out of this trouble. He said that to return his money, he would have to pay money to a gang. After this, online conversation started between the two and the matter increased to such an extent that both of them started considering each other as husband and wife.
The police arrested Hu
On 19 September last year, Hu was arrested by the police. Hu also accepted his crime. People are surprised after knowing the whole matter. Let us tell you that Stockholm syndrome is a condition of any person in which he starts having sympathy for the person who has done wrong to him.
