According to Mirror’s report, 54-year-old David Pagliero, who lives in Devon, England, is a dentist at Smile Dental Center. His wife died a few years ago. After this, he met 30-year-old Sophie Colville. David thought that Sophie could perhaps become his partner. But after a few days, he became so sad with her behavior that they separated. After this, Sophie became obsessed with his love. She was not ready to leave him.
Sophie started following his car
Things got to a point where Sophie started following his car. The doctor saw Sophie following him at the petrol pump many times. She was also seen at the farm house. She used to hide in the bushes near the driveway and watch the doctor. Once Sophie was seen opening the door of his car, seeing this Dr. David Pagliero was stunned. One day things went too far, Sophie reached Dr. David’s bedroom. When this information was given to the court, even the judge was shocked. The doctor’s lawyer Alistair Verhagen told that the doctor reached when Sophie was inside the house. There was a scuffle between the two. Sophie also tried to snatch Dr. David’s phone. Later she jumped out of the window and ran away.
The doctor defended himself in court
The lawyer said, Sophie made 965 calls to the doctor in a single day and more than 1,000 calls the next day. She used to call anytime, day or night. Troubled, the doctor complained to the police. After this, the police arrested Sophie. The court was about to sentence her when the doctor appeared in the court. He said – She is a good woman. Perhaps she is unable to bear the pain of separation. That is why she should be released. We do not want to take revenge on her. I would never want her to be troubled because of me. Despite this, the judge sentenced her to 20 weeks in jail. He also warned that if she tried to contact Dr. David again, tried to go to his house, then a severe punishment would be given.
