There are many diseases around the world which are incurable. In some of these diseases, the skin of some children becomes like that of fish, while others start looking old in childhood itself. Even the treatment from cancer to AIDS is not 100% correct. In such situations, people either face immense pain or die. Today we are going to introduce you to a woman suffering from such a terrible disease, who is a resident of Manchester, England. The name of this 27 year old woman is Roya Rasouli, who is a businesswoman. You will be surprised to know that for 14 years, Roya had severe pain in her stomach, due to which she was in agony. Still, somehow she tolerated the pain. Consulted many doctors, but did not get relief. But recently when he talked about his illness, everyone was shocked to know the truth. He said that he is suffering from an incurable disease called endometriosis.
Roya Rasouli, who won the Pride of Britain Award, revealed her illness and the problems caused by it. 27-year-old Roya Rasouli said that when I was diagnosed with endometriosis, I was devastated. Due to this chronic disease, I have been suffering a lot of pain for the last 14 years and am searching for a doctor who can give me relief from this immense pain. But despite seeing many doctors, there was no significant relief. Roya explained that endometriosis affects millions of women worldwide and is an incurable disease in which tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus into the ovaries, fallopian tubes or other areas of the pelvis. It causes excruciating pain that can affect one’s day-to-day activities. It may begin with a woman’s first menstruation and continue until menopause. Although there is no cure for it, its symptoms can be treated with medicines or in some cases surgery.
Women suffering from this disease experience severe pain and excessive bleeding during periods. There are many other physical problems also. In such a situation, seeing the problems of women suffering from this disease, young fashion design student Roya, using the skills learned at Manchester Metropolitan University, has launched a fashion brand ‘Femwear’, whose aim is to provide stylish clothes for women suffering from diseases like endometriosis. And to make comfortable clothes. Because of this the brand gained a lot of popularity. Amidst her growing popularity, Roya was nominated for ‘The King’s Trust Young Achiever Award’ at the Pride of Britain Awards for her efforts in helping gynecology and people suffering from such diseases. During the award, Roya said that it is surreal and very emotional for my work to be recognized in this way. Creating Famewear wasn’t easy, but I’m proud that I stuck to my vision. This is dedicated to all those women who are suffering from diseases like endometriosis. Women suffering from this disease struggle every day, I am lucky to be able to help them.
