A unique case has come to light under the Kotwali police station area of Rewa city of Madhya Pradesh, in which a woman reached the police station after preparing an aarti plate due to the police not taking any action on her complaint and started performing the aarti for the city police station in-charge. However, the police station in-charge refused to allow the woman to perform the aarti and he left his chair and started wandering here and there. The entire police force of the police station was surprised to see the woman doing this. Its video is going viral on social media.
The woman’s name is Anuradha Soni. Her husband’s name is Kuldeep Soni, who is a jewelery firm operator. Kuldeep told that an employee of his firm along with his brother had embezzled 20 kg of silver, against which he had reached the police station on January 2 to file a named report. When the case was not registered, he wrote a letter to the ASP. After several days, on January 28, the police registered a case under section 408 against the accused Mukesh Soni and Arpit Soni, but till date the police has not made any arrest or investigation against the accused. Seeing the slow working style of the police, Anuradha Soni reached the police station with the Aarti plate and expressed her protest by performing the Aarti of the police station in-charge.
The police kept me in the police station for 8 hours
Talking to the media, Anuradha Soni and her husband Kuldeep Soni told that this video is from 4 days ago, when we performed the aarti of the police station in-charge in protest, we were made to sit in the police station for 8 hours. Anuradha and her husband were accompanied by their two daughters, who remained hungry and thirsty. Anuradha alleges that the policemen also misbehaved with her and her husband.
The police station in-charge vehemently denied the allegations
City Kotwali police station in-charge JP Patel has denied the allegations of complainant Anuradha and her husband and also denied the issue of misbehavior. He has said that the investigation into the theft case will be completed as soon as possible.
