Playing with water guns is not a new thing. People play with it on Holi or just like that but rarely has anyone been charged with a deadly attack for this. This has happened with a woman in Ontario. Let’s know the whole case.
Playing with water in the summer season is nothing new. Everyone enjoys doing this. Sometimes, just for fun, people start playing by sprinkling water on each other with a pipe or a water gun. Hardly anyone takes offense to this. Even if someone does, at least no one would have called the police for this.
In our country, people play with pichkaris on Holi or just like that. Feeling good or bad is a different matter but no one has ever been booked for a deadly attack for just this. However, this has happened with a woman in the Canadian province of Ontario. Let’s know what this whole matter is and what was the charge for playing with water?
‘Deadly attack’ done with ‘pichkari’
According to the website Oddity Central, a 58-year-old woman was playing with her child’s water gun. While playing with the children in her garden, suddenly a stream of water from her pichkari hit the neighbor’s chest. He was trimming the plants at that time and the woman claims that he immediately apologized. However, the neighbor immediately ran into the house stamping his feet and called the police and said that he had been ‘physically attacked’. The police also reached the spot quickly and registered a case of dispute and assault between two people.
Woman gets into legal trouble while playing sports
The woman claims that the police did not even see the water gun and did not ask her any questions. The woman named Wendy Washik said that she had a water gun in her hand and nothing else. However, after this case, she cannot even go to her work until the matter is resolved. She says that she is also having to raise funds for legal fees because the charge of murderous assault is not a small one. They are also looking for other ways to resolve the matter because this legal case will go on for a long time.
