It is a famous Korean dish, made with rice cakes and spicy chili sauce. It is not only liked in Korea for its spicy taste, but has also become quite popular all over the world. Material:
– 200 grams rice cake (Tteok)
– 1 cup water or vegetable stock
– 2 tbsp gochujang (korean chili paste)
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon gochugaru i.e. Korean chili flakes
– 1-2 chopped green onions (for garnish)
– 1 boiled egg (for garnish)
– 1/2 cup chopped Chinese cabbage (you can also add tofu, mushroom)

Method of preparation:
-First of all, buy a packet of Korean rice cakes from any Asian store. Soak it in some warm water for 10-15 minutes, so that it becomes soft.

-To make the sauce, take 1 cup of water or vegetable stock in a pan and boil it. Add gochujang (chili paste), soy sauce and sugar. Mix it well so that its texture becomes sauce like.

-Now when the sauce starts boiling, add rice cakes to it and cook on low flame. After cooking for 5-7 minutes, ensure that the rice cakes are completely immersed in the sauce. Then add Chinese cabbage into it.
