Sonbhadra: In UP, many districts of Purvanchal are known for rice cultivation, in which Chandauli is also called the rice bowl. Talking about Sonbhadra district of UP, Jeera 32 rice here has a different identity. It is in demand in other states as well as in the whole of UP. This rice is considered the best to eat. Most people like it among the rice consumed daily. The big reason behind this is that it is very tasty.
Apart from these, this rice has many other qualities. Although this rice is also grown in many other districts including Varanasi, but Jeera 32 of Sonbhadra is more liked. The main reason for this is that the climate here is favorable for it. This is the reason that Jeera 32 grown in Sonanchal has got a different identity even in the city of Nawabs i.e. the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. Due to the increasing demand of Jeera 32 of Sonbhadra, farmers here are now trying to produce more of it.
Know its other features
Jeera 32- JR 32 rice is commonly called Jeera 32 rice. Jeera 32 is also known as the queen of rice due to its aromatic, light, soft and tasty characteristics. It is grown extensively in Chandauli and Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh but Jeera 32 of Sonbhadra is more preferred. Jeera 32 is a very rare and best rice in the non-basmati category. It is also counted among very thin rice i.e. fine rice.
In a special conversation with Local 18, Babulal Maurya, a well-known farmer of the state and known as an agricultural scientist for Sonbhadra, said that the production of any crop has some meaning in every place. Tomatoes and chillies of our district are going abroad. He gave another example that if we grow oranges here, then the oranges grown here have more sourness. On the other hand, the oranges of Nagpur are less sour because the climate there is of that kind. Similarly, every climate in every region has something special. Let us tell you that similarly, there is a sweet found in an area of Rajasthan, whose best taste comes from the local milk and water of that place. Because when the confectioners working in the same shop tried to make the same kind of sweet by going to different areas, then that taste could not be achieved.
The Jeera 32 rice of Sonbhadra district is suitable for the climate here and there are some such elements in the soil due to which the rice of this place is liked in Lucknow as well. This is the reason why people living there also demand Jeera 32 rice of Sonbhadra.
