There is no pain, no mark is formed… This snake is the cause of most deaths in India, there is no feeling at all when it bites

West Champaran: – Do you know that there is a species of snake found in India that if it bites, in most of the cases the victim does not even realize that he has been bitten by a snake. The hair-raising thing is that the name of this snake comes in the list of the four most poisonous and deadly snakes found in India. In such a situation, death is certain after being bitten by this snake. If experts are to be believed, then not only in India, but in the entire continent of Asia, it is considered as the most poisonous and deadly snake. This snake is none other than the “Common Krait”.

There is no pain on biting, the mark is very blurred

Wildlife expert Swapnil Khatal, who has been working on wildlife for the last 22 years, tells Local 18 that the Common Krait is a snake that people do not even realize after being bitten by it. Actually, its teeth are very thin and small like a needle. In such a situation, when it bites someone, there is neither sharp pain nor do teeth marks form on the bitten area. The scary thing is that when it bites you feel the same pain as a mosquito bite. As a result, in most cases, people remain unaware even after being bitten and due to lack of timely treatment, they die.

Life goes away in sleep
According to Swapnil, neurotoxin poison is found in this snake, which starts damaging the nervous system of the victim as soon as it enters the blood. Common kraits are nocturnal, which go out to hunt for their food at night. They mostly like to enter houses in search of frogs, lizards and rats. Along with being cold-blooded, they are also experts in climbing high things. Therefore, many times in search of prey, they enter houses and climb up to beds and bite the people sleeping there as soon as they come in contact with them for self-defense. The scary thing is that due to the absence of pain after the krait bite, people remain asleep and die in their sleep.
