There was a ruckus in Pakistan over the camel, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari ordered an artificial leg from Dubai, know what is the whole matter?

There is a controversy going on in Pakistan these days regarding a camel. Now the government is getting an artificial leg for the camel from Dubai and will also bear the entire cost of treatment. This matter is also spread on social media and 6 people have also been arrested in this case. These people are accused of cutting the camel’s leg. This camel had entered a farm in Sindh province in search of fodder. The landlord of the farm and his five servants are accused of cutting the camel’s leg and they have also been arrested. Top politicians shocked by this incident are now arranging an artificial leg for the camel from Dubai.

Rustam Shar and his five servants were arrested after they cut off the right leg of a camel in Mund Jamrao village in Sanghar district last weekend and posted a video on social media holding the severed leg.

This video created a lot of uproar on social media and animal rights organizations and people demanded the government to take action against the landlord for this cruel act. The camel’s owner and farmer Sumar Behan did not report the matter to the police but after the matter came to light, the officials contacted him.

After visiting the shelter on the directions of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Livestock Secretary Kazim Jato said, “The camel was immediately taken to the Comprehensive Disaster Response Service (CDRS) animal shelter in Karachi and a prosthetic leg was ordered for it from Dubai.”

The secretary said that the Sindh government has promised to bear the cost of the camel’s treatment and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is arranging an artificial leg for the camel from Dubai.

Jato said the camel’s leg was improving and an X-ray would be conducted on Tuesday to decide the next stage of treatment. Police said the farmer refused to identify the culprit and file a case against him, so an FIR was filed by the state against six unidentified persons.

In another FIR lodged by the police, it was said that on Saturday when the policemen reached to arrest six suspects, they were resisted and attacked. Sub-inspector Atta Hussain Jatt said that the suspects were produced before Duty Magistrate Asif Siyal on Sunday, from where they were sent to four days of police custody. The officer said that the police is trying to recover the weapons used in the incident. He said that the investigation in the case is going on.
