Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: Preparations are in full swing in the Ram temple under construction in Ayodhya for the consecration of Ram Lalla. This special program is going to happen on 22nd January. After this, special programs will be organized in Ayodhya for two months which will continue till March 25. During this period, special programs of Ram Katha, discourse, Ramlila will be organized in Ayodhya. For which preparations are being made by the Culture and Tourism Department of Uttar Pradesh.
At the same time, special preparations are also being made in the grand temple under construction of Ramlala. Which will be equipped with many features. So let us know today what are the features of this special temple.
Features of Ram Temple
- Ram temple is being built in traditional Nagar style.
- The length (east to west) of Ram temple will be 380 feet, width 250 feet and height 161 feet.
- Ram temple will be three storeyed and the height of each floor will be 20 feet. There will be a total of 392 pillars and 44 gates in the temple.
- In the main sanctum sanctorum, there will be the child form of Lord Shri Ram (deity of Shri Ramlala Sarkar), while on the first floor there will be the court of Shri Ram.

Apart from this, there will be 5 pavilions in the temple namely dance pavilion, color pavilion, assembly pavilion, prayer pavilion and kirtan pavilion

Idols of gods and goddesses are being carved in the pillars and walls of the Ram temple.
- On entering the temple from the east, one will climb 32 steps and come through Singhdwar.
- Ramp and lift will be arranged in the temple for the disabled and elderly.
- There will be rectangular ramparts i.e. big walls around the temple. Its total length in all four directions will be 732 meters and width will be 14 feet.
- Four temples dedicated to Sun God, Mother Bhagwati, Ganapati and Lord Shiva will be built on the four corners of these forts. There will be a temple of Maa Annapurna in the northern arm and a temple of Hanuman ji in the southern arm.
- Sitakoop of mythological period will be established near the temple.
- Other temples proposed in the temple complex will be dedicated to Maharishi Valmiki, Maharishi Vashishtha, Maharishi Vishwamitra, Maharishi Agastya, Nishadraj, Mata Shabari and Rishipatni Devi Ahalya.
- In the south-western part, the ancient temple of Lord Shiva has been renovated on Navratna Kuber Tila where Jatayu statue has been installed.
- Iron is not being used in the construction of the temple, due to which there is no concrete at all on the ground there.
- 14 meter thick Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) has been laid under the temple. Which has been given the form of artificial rock.
- To protect the temple from ground moisture, a 21 feet high plinth has been made of granite.
- Sewer treatment plant, water treatment plant, water system for fire fighting and independent power station have been built independently in the temple complex, so that there is minimum dependence on external resources.
- A visitor convenience center with a capacity of up to 25 thousand is being constructed in Ram Mandir, where there will be lockers to keep the belongings of the visitors and medical facilities.
- Facilities of bathroom, toilet, wash basin, open taps etc. will be provided in the temple premises.
- The temple is being constructed completely as per Indian tradition and with indigenous technology. Besides, special attention is also being given to environment and water conservation. Due to which 70% of the total area of 70 acres will always remain green.
