These five dry vegetables are also called royal vegetables. These vegetables are very expensive. The price of these 5 vegetables is 5 to 10 thousand rupees per kg. Even in the market, it is sold much more expensive than other vegetables. This royal vegetable is definitely prepared in every wedding of Bikaner.
Shopkeeper Harish Aggarwal told that these five vegetables including Sangri, Ker, Kumtiya, Bheh, Phogla are in season in summer. People store these vegetables at home throughout the year. The specialty of these vegetables is that these vegetables never spoil. At the same time, their vegetable does not spoil for many days after being prepared. In this, Sangri vegetable is the most expensive. After making Sangri vegetable, it is sold for up to Rs 5,000 per kg.
Many benefits of eating
They say that these vegetables are available in the market for up to Rs 1,000 per kg. Sangri is available at Rs 1000 per kg, Ker at Rs 1000 per kg, Kumtiya at Rs 200 per kg, Bheh at Rs 400 per kg, Fogla at Rs 300 per kg. They say that as the heat increases, the price of these vegetables will increase further. Aggarwal told that these vegetables grow in the villages around Bikaner and are not cultivated but remain on the trees. Ayurvedic doctor Amit Gehlot told that there are many benefits of eating these five royal vegetables. Many types of nutrients are found in Sangri. In which magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron and zinc are prominent. Along with this, it is also rich in protein and fiber. Eating these vegetables increases immunity and keeps cholesterol in check and is beneficial in fighting many diseases.
