Along with this, this facility has also been given to the disabled people. According to the information given by the Election Commission, a total of 82 lakh voters in India are above 85 years of age. So there are 88.2 lakh disabled voters.
Voting from home will be arranged like this
The Election Commission has made special arrangements for voting for disabled people and senior citizens. Such voters will be able to cast their vote while sitting at their home. For this, the volunteers offering their services in the elections will help. Form 12 will be sent to the homes of these voters by the Election Commission. Through which these people will be able to cast their vote from home.
