Jharkhand Ration Card Benefits: The Government of India runs many schemes for the citizens of the country. Most of these schemes are for poor needy people. Even today, there are many people in India who are unable to arrange for two meals a day. The Government of India provides ration to such people at low prices under the National Food Security Act. At the same time, governments of different states of India also run ration schemes for the citizens of their states at very low prices.
Jharkhand government also provides ration facility to the citizens of its state at low prices. Ration card holders get ration on their ration card once a month. Now the Jharkhand government has made some changes in the scheme. Now ration card holders of this color will be given ration cards twice a month in Jharkhand.

Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has changed the rules of the state’s ration card scheme. Now green ration card holders in Jharkhand will get ration not once but twice in a month. Before Diwali, the government has given a big gift to the ration card holders. Under this, these ration card holders will get ration for December 2023 from 1st to 15th in the month of October. So, ration for October 2024 will be available from 16th to 31st.

Similarly, ration for January 2024 will be available from 1st to 15th November and from 16th to 30th November 2024. So in December, ration will be available from 1st to 15th February 2024 and from 16th to 31st December 2024. In the year 2020, the Jharkhand government had started the Green Card Scheme under the State Food Security Scheme. Through which rice is given to the beneficiaries every month at the rate of Re 1 per kilogram.
Names of 5 lakh more people will be added
In the cabinet meeting of Jharkhand government, approval was given to increase the number of beneficiaries of Green Ration Card holders under the State Food Security Scheme. Now 5 lakh new names will be added to the list of Green Ration Card holders in Raj. After this this list will increase from 20 lakh to 25 lakh. At present the number of beneficiaries of Green Ration Card holders is around 17 lakh.
