These three brave soldiers of India received Paramvir Chakra while alive, these are their names

Paramveer Chakra is awarded to the brave soldiers who fight the enemies anywhere on land, sea or air. This honor can be given to a soldier posthumously, which is often done, but do you know that there are only three soldiers deployed in the Indian Army who have been honored with this honor while they are alive. So let us know about them today.

Grenadier Yogendra Yadav
Grenadier Yogendra Singh Yadav of Grenadier Battalion 18 was tasked with capturing three strategic bunkers on Tiger Hill with his lethal commando platoon on the morning of 4 July 1999 during the Kargil War. Was handed over. The target for this was covered with snow at an altitude of 16,500 feet. Grenadier Yogrendra Yadav had voluntarily led the attack during this period. They were moving towards reaching their target through the rocks when the enemies started firing with cannons and rockets midway. In such a situation, a platoon commander and two other people came under the heavy firing. Grenadier Yogendra Yadav also got shot on his waist and shoulder but realizing the situation, he moved forward and climbed 60 feet and reached the top.

Then crawled to the bunkers and attacked the Pakistani soldiers with grenades. In which Pakistani soldiers were killed. With this action he was able to easily take his remaining commanders to the rock. During this time, Yogrendra Singh Yadav was hit by 15 bullets and he was also attacked with two hand grenades. His hand was hanging by the tendon. Still, without caring about all these things, he went from one bunker to another. Seriously injured Yogrendra Yadav came down and informed the enemy’s action plan to his commanding officer. His companions, 7 people, moved upwards. The extent to which he was injured during this period can be gauged from the fact that he was able to recover after spending 16 months in the hospital. He was awarded Paramvir Chakra for his brave work.

Rifleman Sanjay Kumar
Rifleman Sanjay Kumar was the leading scout of 13 JAK Rifles who was given the mission to capture Flat Top, an area occupied by Pakistani militants on 4 July 1999. During this time, Sanjay Kumar kept moving forward while crawling amidst the enemy firing. Without caring that he had been shot on the chest and shoulder, he continued moving forward and picked up the enemy’s machine gun and killed three of their soldiers. During this time, blood was flowing continuously from Sanjay Kumar’s body. For his courage he was awarded the Paramvir Chakra.

Nayab Subedar Bana Singh
Bana Singh was posted to the 8th Jammu and Kashmir LI in the Siachen area in June 1987. Meanwhile, Pakistanis infiltrated the highest peak of Siachen Glacier at a height of about 6500 meters. During this time, the outstanding Subedar Bana Singh led his soldiers through a very difficult and dangerous path. During this, the crawling soldiers threw grenades at the enemies and attacked them. Due to which he removed all the infiltrators from the post. For his bravery he was awarded the Paramveer Award. The name of the peak which he had captured was changed to Bana Top.
