Tara, a resident of Kathmandu, while talking to Local 18 said that she had never thought of a modeling career. Tara used to visit Delhi since childhood as many of her cousins and relatives lived here. One of her cousins was a designer who worked with models. During this time, a designer suddenly offered Tara a modeling job and her modeling career started. She worked in this field for five years and did Lakme fashion shoots, ethnic shoots, jewelry shoots and modeling for many big brands.
Why did you decide to quit modelling?
However, Tara had a dream since childhood to do her own work. She loved cooking and feeding people. Due to this passion, she decided to quit modeling and opened her own momos shop in Delhi.
The journey of opening a momos shop
Tara along with her partner opened a shop named ‘Momo Mama’ in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi. Apart from this, their first branch is located in Chhatarpur, Delhi. Tara learned to make momos from her partner’s mother and now she is feeding many different types of momos to the people of Delhi. Many varieties like veg momos, jhol momos, paneer momos, tandoori momos are available here. The price of momos starts from ₹40 and goes up to ₹200.
