The use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasing rapidly. It is being used in various fields. AI is now being used in religious and spiritual fields also. Actually, a unique experiment has been done in a church in Lucerne city of Switzerland. An AI-based confession booth has been installed here. In which a big image of 3D Jesus Christ has been installed. This image listens to people’s problems and gives spiritual advice to solve them. This experiment has been called ‘Deus in Machina’ i.e. God in the machine.
More than 100 languages are supported
According to the report of DW, this is an AI-powered booth. In this, the animated face of Jesus Christ has been projected on the screen. Due to it being a curved monitor, it looks absolutely real. It is available for conversation in more than 100 languages. According to the report, before entering the booth, people are warned about the risks of not sharing personal information and using the service. In this, consent has to be given by pressing a button for entry. After this you can interact with the animated face of Jesus in more than 100 languages. The report says that it helps people all over the world with different religious beliefs. People say that this is no less than a miracle.
How does this AI bot work?
Many Bibles and other scriptures have been used to train this AI bot. The aim of this initiative is to provide a grassroots level experience with AI. Instead of giving direct answers to questions, AI bot forces people to think by asking questions. As she was asked, “Why can’t women become priests?” AI Jesus responded by saying that religious texts prescribe different roles for different people.”
