The economy here depends on the workers working in these companies. Men work in gold mines and women search for gold particles among the pieces of rocks scattered here and there.

Employees work without pay for 30 days and are allowed to take as much ore from the mine on the 31st day. Whatever metal the miners extract from that ore is theirs. Most miners do not have any resources, so their hard work is sold at throwaway prices. In this city neither anyone takes taxes nor there is any administration. For this reason there is no facility of any kind. There are no roads and drainage system. The level of oxygen in this city is very low. If compared with normal areas, only 50 percent oxygen is available here. The people here have become accustomed to it, but if someone from outside comes, life will not be easy.
