Udaipur:- These days, Haryana’s special Jalebi or ‘Jaleba’ has become the center of attraction among the people in Shilpgram Mahotsav of Udaipur. This Jalebi is not only famous for its unique taste, but its weight and method of preparation also make it special. Naresh Kumar, who comes from Gulana district of Haryana, whom everyone calls Tau, has been bringing his special Jalebi to this festival for the last 15 years.

250 gram ‘Jaleba’ became everyone’s favorite
This jalebi of Tau Naresh Kumar weighs 250 grams and is available only once a year during the Shilpgram festival. The residents and tourists of the city are especially eager to taste it. Naresh Kumar told Local 18 that our Jalebi contains a mixture of gram flour, semolina and desi ghee along with flour. This is our ancestral recipe and along with taste, health is also taken care of.

Special experience for city residents and tourists
Those who eat this Jalebi in one go say that just one piece of it fills the stomach. Every year people coming to the fair reach Tau’s shop in search of it. Naresh Kumar makes people taste this Jalebi with great love and hospitality. Apart from Shilpgram Utsav, Tau Naresh Kumar also participates in big events held at places like Chandigarh, Surajkund, Kurukshetra, Jodhpur, Jaipur and Goa. He told that earlier his Jalebi was available for Rs 80. But due to increasing cost now its price has become Rs 100.
