Actors like Farida Jalal, Aruna Irani, Deven Verma, Balwinder Singh were also seen in the film.

The film won 3 National Film Awards in which the Best Supporting Actress Award went to Karisma Kapoor, the Best Popular Film Award went to Yash Chopra, the Best Choreographer Award went to Shiamak Devar. Apart from this Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit got the Best Actor and Actress awards.
