Mentioning one of his anecdotes with Babar and Holi, he wrote in his book that when Babar saw that the people of India were lifting and throwing people in pots full of colours… Babar liked this method very much. He liked it so much that he got liquor filled in the pots of colours. Let us tell you that Holi was given the name of Eid-e-Gulabi and Aab-e-Pashi during the time of Shah Jahan.

Akbar was also fond of Holi

Akbar was such a ruler of the Mughals who tried to know India from inside. He also started participating in their festivals to adopt the people of India. Abul Fazal, one of Akbar’s Nauratnas, has mentioned many things related to Holi in his book Ain-e-Akbari. In this, he has written that Akbar was very fond of Holi. It is mentioned in this book that Akbar used to collect such things throughout the year so that he could throw the colors far away.
