If your date of birth is wrongly recorded in your PAN card. Then you can update it while sitting at home. For this, first of all you have to go to the official website of PAN card /www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html. After this you will have to go to the section of change and correction. After this you will have to proceed by clicking on the option of Reprint PAN Card.
After this you can update any of your information in PAN card. Like mail ID, phone number and date of birth. To change the date of birth, you will be asked for some supporting documents. Like Aadhar Card, Driving License or Passport. Any of these documents will have to be uploaded and after that the payment will have to be completed. Which you can give through UPI or credit card, debit card or net banking.
How much are the fees?
For updating PAN card, you are charged an updation fee. Which is 96 rupees. After paying the fees online, you must note down your transaction number. After this, a form will appear in front of you and fill in the required information. After this print the form. And send it through post to the address of NSDL e-Gov office.
