People are coming from far and wide to see the amazing specialty of this tree. This jackfruit tree has become a center of attraction for the people of Sultanpur. Praveen Kumar Upadhyay, who takes care of this tree, does many types of scientific and interesting farming. Earlier, he had surprised people by growing 6 feet gourd.

While talking to Local 18, farmer Praveen Kumar Upadhyay told that although jackfruit fruit is often available in the summer season, but this jackfruit tree planted by him is amazing because this tree bears jackfruit fruits even in the winter season. . He had bought this jackfruit plant from Meerut in the year 2019 for Rs 150, which was of Vietnam super early variety. Initially it was planted as a trial but in its fifth year it started bearing fruits every 12 months due to which it came to be called perennial jackfruit tree.
This tree is such a fit height
Farmer Praveen Kumar Upadhyay told that the height of this tree is 15 to 20 feet. In this, fruits start coming in the month of October and reach their full size in November-December. One tree produces about 150 to 200 jackfruits.
Farmer Praveen Upadhyay is educated
Praveen Upadhyay, resident of Hardas village, Ramnagar, Sultanpur, is a very educated farmer. He has done post graduate studies in MSc Ag and Entomology subjects. Praveen was fond of farming since childhood. He had brought this bottle gourd seed from Acharya Narendradev University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya in the month of August.
