In which Shishram Ola, a prominent leader not only of Jhunjhunu but of entire Shekhawati, was also crazy about their paan. Along with this, the big Seths of Jhunjhunu who have become migrants today were also very fond of their paan.

Yogesh Sharma told that this work was started by his grandfather. He was not even born then. Today this work is being carried on from generation to generation. Right now paan is being made by them. Along with this, betel leaves are also supplied by them all over Jhunjhunu. While giving information about the shop, Yogesh Sharma said that his shop has been running since 1936. He told that earlier his grandfather used to sit at this shop. Then his father and now he himself is running this shop. This shop is located near Josi’s Gatte in the textile market of Jhunjhunu.

Learned the art of making paan from grandfather
His shop is also very famous in the area by the name of Surajmal Panwadi Shop. While giving information about Paan, Yogesh said that he has a lot of variety in Paan. He told that he gets sweet betel leaves from different places like Bengal, Madras and Pali. He told that there is no harm from betel leaves. He told that he had no knowledge about betel. He had learned all this by living with his grandfather.

Make paan for people in different ways
Yogesh told that even today his father supplies betel leaves all over Jhunjhunu. He told that betel leaves come in Jaipur train from Kolkata and Bengal. He told that betel leaves come in a special basket. Due to which they do not spoil for a week. Yogesh told that everyone likes his paan because he uses quality ingredients in his paan. Their method of making is also different.

Paan is prepared in this special way
The rate of paan starts from Rs 20 to Rs 40. He told that the highest demand at his shop is for sweet paan and jarde paan. He told that while making paan, he adds special betel leaf, gulkand, mukhwas, cardamom, saffron, roasted coconut, raisins, betel nut, extinguished Various fillers like lime paste are added. The leaf is then wrapped in a neat little parcel and served.
