Which used to be a dairy earlier and is famous by the name of Chawla’s. The famous sweet of this shop is red barfi prepared from khoya. Which attracts people towards itself with its sweetness and taste. This sweet is prepared on special order. Some people take this barfi from here to foreign countries. People going to Haryana, Punjab, Himachal like to stop here and eat this red barfi. This red barfi is prepared in a special way, in which homemade milk is used. That milk is cooked so much that mawa comes out from it and that mawa is roasted and then turned red by mixing khoya. After that this barfi is prepared. Various types of dry foods like cashew nuts, almonds, raisins are also used in this barfi, which further enhances the taste of this barfi. If we talk about its price, this red barfi is being sold easily for ₹480 per kg.

While talking to Local 18, shop owner Ripul Chawla said that he has a shop in the name of Chawla’s near the Gurudwara in Sarsawa town of Saharanpur. Lal Barfi is one of their best sweets, which is prepared from red mawa. This red mawa is prepared by ourselves. Lal Barfi is their very famous barfi, which people come here from far and wide to eat. The taste is amazing. This sweet has less sweetness which means even sugar patients can eat it easily. No color is used in this barfi. Khoya is taken out by roasting mawa and dry fruits are added to it to prepare this barfi. Its rate has been kept at Rs 480 per kg. Shop owner Ripul Chawla says that today this sweet shop is famous because of this red barfi. People come from far and wide to eat this and people also send this sweet to foreign countries. That means, not only the people of India but also the people of foreign countries are enjoying the taste of this sweet. Special care is taken of cleanliness while making sweets and when people praise them after eating, it seems that their hard work has been rewarded.
