Gorakhpur: If you go to a restaurant and serve food sitting on a car and scooter instead of table-chair there, will you believe? Located on Asuran Road in Gorakhpur ‘The Factory Restaurant’ I can see such a unique view. Here, customers eat food not on table-chair like a common restaurant, but sitting on a real car and scooter.
Restaurant owner Vikas Shukla took inspiration from this unique setup from Rajasthan. Once he went to visit Rajasthan, he saw a jeep standing there in a unique way in a restaurant. Just inspired by this, he decided to do something new in Gorakhpur. By placing his car and many scooters inside the restaurant, he made a seating area, which made this place a unique dining experience.
Customers are getting different experiences
You will get to see a different atmosphere as soon as you enter ‘The Factory Restaurant’. There are neither traditional table-chairs nor decorations like common restaurants. Real cars and scooters have been set in such a way that customers can sit on them and enjoy their favorite food. People are liking this unique concept so much that every day there is a crowd of customers here.
Something special is hidden for everyone
There is not only unique seating here, but also a tremendous variety in food. More than 100 types of veg items are found in the restaurant, whose taste is very pleasing to people. Vikas Shukla says that he had to invest about Rs 35 lakh to prepare this unique setup. But now this hard work is paying off and is earning more than 50,000 rupees every day.
Car and scooter can still start
The most interesting thing is that the car and scooters kept here are still completely functional. Vikas says, “If someone wants, he can still start them and take them somewhere.” Hearing this, customers become even more excited.
