Ingredients to make Makhana Chaat
– Makhana – 250 grams
Desi – 2 spoons
– Red chilli – as per taste or 1/4 teaspoon
– Roasted cumin – half teaspoon
– Ground black pepper – half teaspoon
– Rock salt – half teaspoon or as per taste
– pomegranate seeds
How to make Makhana Chaat
First of all, take a pan and let it heat.
Now add desi ghee in it and let it heat a little.
When the desi ghee starts getting slightly hot, add red chilli and black pepper to it and when it gets mixed in the ghee, add roasted cumin and salt to it.
Now add makhana to this tempering of desi ghee and fry it for 5 minutes while stirring it continuously.
Roast the makhana until it becomes nicely crispy.
Now take it out in a bowl and after it cools down, add pomegranate seeds to it, which will make it look beautiful and also be more tasty. So this Shivratri, definitely try and eat this Makhana chaat yourself and feed it to everyone.
