Pappu, the operator of the shop, told that his shop is located near Kamalganj main road where his father started the shop and now he is running the shop. This special sweet is famous at his place by the name of Doda. This barfi is different from other sweets because the maximum amount of dry fruits is used in it, due to which customers like this sweet a lot in winters. This shop opens at 8 in the morning and sweets are sold till late night.

Shopkeeper Pappu told Local 18 that mawa is prepared with pure milk along with gum, melon kernels, cardamom, cashews, almonds, nuts and chironji. Then the nuts are fried in ghee, after which mawa and sugar are mixed and cooked. When it is prepared well, it is filled in a square tray and leveled. When it dries well, its pieces are cut and decorated. Cardamom is also put on top along with cashews. This increases the taste of this barfi and also helps in its sale. In these winter days, customers get a different energy along with taste.
