Shopkeeper Gulshan Arora says that his sweet shop in Rampur is very old. Before him, someone else used to make sweets in this shop. For the last 24 years, he himself prepares delicious sweets here. The price of Sonpapdi is Rs 380 per kg. The shopkeeper says that a lot of hard work goes into making Sonpapdi. After heating desi ghee in a pan, roasting Rajdhani gram flour, putting sugar and water in a vessel, sugar syrup is prepared. After that, gram flour is added to it. No refined flour of any kind is used in it.
